Have now been diagnosed with chronic anxiety disorder it is part of the fibro my a lot of it is the fact that you don't people around you the understand what you are going through Plus with the things that it does to the Head and brain activity it kind of puts it into onset of anxiety depression is also very common with fibro they do have medications that can help I personally tried to use meditation taking a nap if I can sometimes I go on a drive sometimes I lock myself in my room you just do what you have to do ticket through that anxiety panic attack wish you the best I hope some of this information can maybe help you

Yes I started seeing a therapist and put on Xanax prn for anxiety, along with an opiate to help control the extreme pain. The counseling has helped the most but controlling the pain has also decreased the attacks.

My anxiety triggers the pain at times. When I am in extreme pain from another reason I become depressed.

Yes but u need to try stay calm when living with fybro meditation hypnosis with head phones on helps me when pain severe an anxiety starts I rush to bedroom put my headphones on in dark room heated blanket in bed an do visualisation 2 times a day for an hour . U tube jason stephenson visual ones great an he has a lovely voice . Just tell urself keep calm or my fybro pain will last longer . I used to cry an have panic attacks an it made it so much worse ended in hospital once so now I ve tried to take control before anxiety kicks in . Hope this helps massive hugs
