Memory Loss
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anybody else experience memory loss with fibro? It's getting really bad. To the point I forget my own name at times x

I was having really bad fibro fog for quite a long time but have been changing my diet to be more natural, avoid chemical stuff and sugars, and make sure I'm getting enough lean protein. It has made a significant improvement in my memory and just feeling generally sharper. I hope this helps!

My son has this fibro even worse than me and he says he doesn't remember much about his childhood. That is sad for me because I went out of my way to make good memories for him. We had such a wonderful and special relationship and he can't remember a lot of it.

I carry a notebook and pen with me at all times as my memory is really bad. This is quite common for people with fibro.

Yes, "fibro fog" can be a part of fibromyalgia. I experience it, too, as do many.
