I had to buy a wheel chair pad that has the tail bone area cut out like a "u" shape. This helps take the pressure off the tail bone area. I don't have a wheel chair, but I use that pad every where I go! At home in soft chairs, the car, even restaurants, etc. I mean everywhere! All the time! Best wishes, I know fibro will make healing seem to go so slowly.
I had a fall in October 2015 landing on my tailbone never been the same since. Never been xrayed or scanned which I'm going to be pushing for this year. Electric heating pad is the only relief I get for a short period. Can't sit for long can't walk for long codeine helped take the edge of but due to migraine medication I can't take that anymore so I'm withdrawing the pains gets worse again sending hugs x

I fractured my tailbone n the bone right above it when I was younger n there is nothing they can really do. I had to sit on one of those inflatable donuts for a few months. Can u take ibuprofen? I know it is painful n it takes a long time to heal.
Sorry!
Thank u everyone. They didn't look at my shoulder neck area of the spine which I already have issues with.
