Members shared creative snack ideas for managing yeast syndrome on a gluten-free, low-sugar diet, including fresh fruits like berries and pears with almond butter, toasted almonds, gluten-free crackers, sugar-free Popsicles, and hummus with vegetables. Several members recommended adding a high-quality probiotic with multiple bacterial strains to support immune health and reduce recurring infections. A recurring theme was finding satisfying alternatives that feel indulgent while staying within dietary restrictions, with members expressing empathy for how challenging it is to manage frequent oral thrush infections.

Hi, I'm 95% gluten and sugar free. For snacks I'll eat:
carrots & humous
Nairn oatcakes, plain or seeded. The rough oatcakes remind me of digestive biscuits so satisfy that too. They are gluten and sugar free. I love spreading with almond butter, (I'm hooked, zero sugar)
Almond butter on sliced pear - heavenly!
Nakd bars , mostly made from nuts and dates. Can be expensive from Health food shops (over £1 for one) but can get boxes of 4 in supermarkets for around £2.50, sometimes 2 for £4. The flavours are good, diary, wheat and sugar free.
Fruit, boiled egg.
Olives with gluten free pasta.
Occasionally a packet of crisps.
Organic yogurt. I'm also veggie, but otherwise you could add piece of chicken or tuna to rice salad.
Ooh, I've made myself hungry!
Have fun, and I look forward to reading your discoveries.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I was looking back in my Shape Reclaimed booklet to see what I could find. You can have fruits such as Cantaloupe, cherries, honeydew, peaches, pears, plums, apple, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and oranges. (Fresh not dried) Also gluten free crackers, Blue Diamond Nut Thins, and Rice Crackers. Multiply your current weight x 9 to get maximum amount of calories to consume in a day. Hope this will help! Hugs

Also if you dont already, add a good probiotic to your daily vitamins, at least five different bacteria and 10 mil actives. Yeast is commonly associated with immune system issues. Probiotics help boost immune system.
