Members shared a wealth of self-care ideas for managing fibromyalgia and chronic pain, covering both physical comfort and emotional wellbeing. Several members described helpful practices like warm baths, TENS machines, heat balms, vibrating beds, CBD rubs, and batch cooking to reduce daily stress, while others found relief in meditation, gentle yoga, gratitude journaling, art, photography, and spending time in nature. A recurring theme was the importance of pacing, protecting your energy, and giving yourself permission to rest without guilt, with many reminding each other that you cannot pour from an empty cup.

I do a gratitude prayer every morning to start out my morning. I take my time in the morning. When I worked, I would get up early and clean a room before going to work. I take it slower. If the weather is decent, I sit out on the patio and watch the birds and squirrels which grounds me. One of the things I am working on is not to expect so much from myself. I give myself time for something I enjoy every day.

I've had 2 strokes I have seizures ehlers danlos syndrome. A tumour in my head that is inoperable
Being envious of that is not very intelligent now is it.
I worked extremely hard to get where I am today. Oh I also have Fibromyalgia. I do work hard everyday because I don't take life too seriously and I'd rather be happy than the opposite. That's the second time in 2 days someone has said they are envious of me. I don't like envy or jealousy its an ugly emotion. I also know I'm lucky. Another thing people keep telling me I am.
I am the way I am because I work hard at doing stuff I want to do and I will not let any health problems get me down ever. I could complain everyday but I choose not to. I choose happiness I chose positivity laughter and fun.

I've actually never thought about it. I've looked at the picture and I definitely do drain my battery more than charge it. But I think I may start looking at some ideas on how to recharge my internal battery and see how I go on. Xx
