Members shared diverse food triggers that worsen their fibromyalgia flares, with the most commonly mentioned culprits being MSG, artificial sweeteners, caffeine, greasy or fried foods, sugar, alcohol (especially wine), processed foods, and certain red meats. Several members described specific intolerances they developed after their fibromyalgia diagnosis, including dairy, gluten, nightshade vegetables, high-acid foods like tomatoes, and even certain condiments like mayo, while others noted that diet changes made little difference for them personally. A recurring theme was the highly individual nature of fibromyalgia triggers, with members encouraging each other to experiment and discover their own patterns while acknowledging that sometimes flares happen regardless of diet.

I found out that MSG as well as Corn Syrup are direct causes of flares in many people with Fibromyalgia and that is why we are told to avoid most store bought drinks. And with me found out they were causing full body tremors that would last up to 4 minutes so bad they thought that I was having Grand Maul seizures

Caffeine is a big one for me - along with wine and really any alcohol - just one glass and it's game over the next day .

Well, after reading alot of the foods that affect y'all guess I'm doing pretty good cuz the majority of everything listed are things I have to avoid or be very careful with. I can't eat greasy foods and tha was hard cuz I grew up in Texas & we fried everything! Can't eat pancakes and syrup and I've tried different kinds.
Oh and MSG, OMG, awful stuff. Have avoided it for years cuz of my migraines. Etc, etc...
Don't y'all just love all the little "gifts" Fibro gives us? NOT!! lol
