Bone broth is supposed to be useful because of the glycine that is obtained form slow cooking bones and things like feet and skin.
I don't have the time or the energy to make bone broth. BUT I do supplement 3mg of glycine a day.
It has had a phemomenal affect on my IBS, my sleep, my nails have stopped peeling and my skin no longer looks so dull.

Glycine is a building block of collagen and plays a huge part of the healing and regeneration processes in the body.

I would suggest you type in 'glycine for fibromyalgia' into google search engine and you will find the same research that I did.

There is not going to be any huge studies as the pharmaceutical world stands to gain nothing by finding a simple amino acid that is easily made, purchased and easily digestible to their 'war on disease'. LOL, as if chemical drugs ever healed anybody. They merely mask symptoms.

My fibro is largey in remission as I follow an amino acid approach to healing. Once again you will find all this info if you look for it and free form amino acids are easily available and are non harmful.

Go for it. You ahve nothing to lose.

Eating any healthy protein food should do you no harm but rubbish to say no pain there? Proven fact that the nerve sensory system is too sensitive in the persons body. Some say genetics, chronic pain syndrome, ptsd, etc etc. It's likely to be more than one factor ! What we need is a good diagnosis by proven specialists, and medicines to deal with this.

I've never heard of that... But if you were told that by someone who doesn't believe it exists it's more than likely just something they told you to make yourself believe it works, like they think you make yourself believe the pain is real.

Everybody body is different. What works for me may not work for you. I had surgery last December I had a tumor removed from my parathyroid and for some reason 3 days after my surgery I didn't have any pain what so ever for around 30 days or so. I even lost 20 pounds, Then I started to feel pain again. Who knows what that's all about.
