Has anyone been doing well for a long period of time like I had been for about three years and suddenly had a severe decline in health like a reset to the original onset of the disorder? I take savella. I got off of it to take lyrica to see if it would help lessen the few flares I was having monthey with my cycle. It made it worse and I haven't been well since.

Members responded to a question about sudden health declines after years of stability, with many sharing that they experienced similar patterns of improvement followed by severe flare-ups, sometimes triggered by medication changes, physical trauma, or hormonal cycles. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped manage their symptoms, including magnesium supplementation (600-800 mg), vitamin D and B-complex vitamins (especially for those with MTHFR genetic factors), probiotics, and medications like Cymbalta and Topamax, while noting that Lyrica caused problematic weight gain and depression for some. A recurring theme was the profound frustration of never achieving complete pain freedom, the unpredictable nature of fibromyalgia flares, and the importance of comprehensive blood work to identify deficiencies that may worsen symptoms.

Yup I spent the first few yrs studying on me since I had 3 babies to raise. Took breaks at nap time, the whole nine yards from 1995 to 2010. My psychotic sister and her 8 yr old nenance happened getting kicked, punched, thrown down stairs backwards, and went on for 10 months. All my teeth, bones all broken, infection set in their, knee/leg damaged bones and nerves permanent damage, my spine broke 2x, infection in body in antibiotics 4 yrs, hemmoraging under skin 400+ places burst thru pores took 5+ yrs to present, finally stopped, legions healing. I went completely out if control, burning and pain severe, you had no choice you screamed. immunity weak I had shingles, rashes, giant hives, dots all over the body, pneumonia, tumors in intestines grew to -6cm in length,-had surgery. And surgery to remove all teeth, gums ,bones. I couldn't go in public from bleeding out everywhere, severe pain etc. Yup I went in control then declined more each day passed.

I truly wish I had an answer for you. You have been through hell and back. First of all, I hope your sister and her child are far away from you. Fibromyalgia is enough to handle without your other problems. Yesterday and today have been rough on me. I was up six times last night and the pain just did not stop. I will try to get back to you soon. If I don't, it won't be because I don't care,it's just some days I'm hurting too much and I can't take the time to write. Believe me I will get back as soon as I can. You will be in my thoughts. Much love to you and best wishes.

I was never pain free but it used to be just my back and neck until last September it attacked by whole body. My limbs ached and burned, my feet I could hardly walk across my room. I have it somewhat under control now using 600-800 Magnesium. Its the only thing that helped. I tried all the drugs for Fibro and they all made me sucidal. My fatigue is at its worse. I can`t do much anymore and that makes it so frustrating. I am tired all the time. I cannot even work because of depression and brain fog. I sometimes find myself having to google a word that I forgot how to spell. Take Care
