I went to the doctors and my feet were looked at. I have plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. It is increasing in pain and getting difficult to walk sometimes.

Does anyone have these problems with their feet? If so what do you do to. Help it? I was told to go to therapy but it's not covered under my plan.

Members rallied around someone struggling with plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis, sharing a wealth of practical strategies that have helped them manage similar foot pain when physical therapy wasn't an option. Several members recommended seeing a podiatrist for custom orthotics or shoe inserts, wearing supportive walking sneakers at all times, rolling a golf ball under the foot to build strength gradually, doing daily stretches before getting out of bed, and using warm Epsom salt soaks or topical pain creams like diclofenac. A recurring theme was the frustrating reality of fibromyalgia-related foot problems, from heel spurs and neuropathy to burning sensations and difficulty walking, with many members emphasizing the importance of trying different approaches until finding what works for your body.

Hi I have the same issues with my feet. I know it is painful. My Doctor has given me cream for my pain. I put it on my feet and hands due to the pain. It doesn't take the pain away but it sure eases the pain. It is called diclofenac 10% in vanpen. It is a prescription.

I had plantar fasciitis several years ago. I also have heel spurs. I chose physical therapy over surgery and I wasn't expecting a miracle but it worked! I still get occasional pain but nothing like it was. That sucks that PT isn't covered. Maybe look up some exercises online that you can try? Best wishes

I have these foot issues really bad, but it helps to get memory foam slip on shoes and always wear them. I only take my shoes off to sleep, and I have to shower with crocs on... NO BARE FEET EVER.

Yes to both. I stretch my feet in the am before getting out of bed if possible then I massage them at the end of the day. Warm epsom salt soaks help along with a heating pad if it's really bad. Trying to go down stairs is the most difficult for me. You can look up exercises online...I doubt PT would do much more for yoy
