Members rallied around someone experiencing a troubling wet sensation on their face accompanied by tingling and numbness, with several urging immediate medical attention due to concerns about stroke or circulation issues rather than waiting for an upcoming appointment. Many members shared their own experiences with similar phantom sensations caused by fibromyalgia, including feelings of wetness, numbness in the face and limbs, and tingling that moves throughout the body, with one member cautioning that untreated nerve issues led to vision loss. A recurring theme was the fierce encouragement to advocate for oneself by calling a doctor immediately, visiting the ER if needed, and never dismissing new or unusual symptoms, even when they seem like just another fibromyalgia quirk.

I have a numb feeling around that I have so many days and months and years but mines due to the nerves dying and causing my eye to go blind my left arm the fibromyalgia skills your nerves and it is killing the nerve in my right eye now I can tell it's going on three months I had to have three lenses one per month it gets expensive but you gotta see it's probably the nerves die and have you talk to your doctor about this because it's very important any little detail about your disease is important anything because I might have not went blind if I had known to talk to my doctor before him because we're saving this other as long as possible eventually I will be flying to Italy but Blind in a wheelchair is not something you gotta laugh about it because if you don't you cry and get the grass all I know is to make sure your doctor acts on it because if he doesn't you need to find one that does
