I keep a small tin of mints with me all the time. Especially if I know I have to speak as my mouth gets so dry my tongue will stick to the roof of my mouth, my throat will close up and it can get quite painful.
Also fruit popsicles
Sucking on some ice helps
Yes yes.. I've had it for years.. Try Biotene mouthwash and toothpaste. It's made for dry mouth. They even make gum and mouth spray. Ps you can find it at most drug stores and sometimes in grocery stores
I finally bought Biotene a week ago and it is helping. I use it twice a day. I had thrush about 3 years ago and ever since then my tongue is so sore. My doctor explained to me Friday that some people who get thrush once will find that their tongue is extremely sensitive after that. The Biotene seems to have helped that some too.
