I was in the shower and remember putting soap on my wash cloth. Next thing I am rinsing the soap off the wash cloth. I have no recollection of what happened in between. This is scary! I don't know when it could happen next.

Omg! My short term memory is shot. My hubby gets frustrated because I forget so much of our conversations. And it's scary. I remember thinking maybe it was early onset Alzheimer's. But luckily it's a symptom of the fibro. And the medications we take often have memory loss as a side effect.
Hi. it must be another symptom of fm as l too get memory blocks and fog..l can be in the middle of a sentence and my mind will just go blank. It can be very embarrassing.
I suffer from memory loss as well. Often my husband finds my keys, wallet, and other random items in our fridge or microwave. I have no recollection of putting them there. I sort of forget where I'm going while I'm driving, so I don't drive nowhere as much as I was. Seems like I am a prisoner in my own home. FIBROMYALGIA is NO JOKE
I laugh about it all the time, I tell people that my mouth has a mind of its own, what ever comes out, is it. If I hurt your feelings, I don't mean to. But, like I said, it's got a mind of its own!
