I broke out with hives, shoulders, upper back, neck and chest. They seem to get worse at night. I couldn't sleep last night due to itchy skin. Has anyone else had hives? I read it's called urticaria, related to fybromyalgia.

I am using pure castile peppermint soap (walgreens has there own brand now, much cheaper than brohner's), and I put tea tree in that for showering. I bought some tea tree and mint shampoo that I found, but before that I just added peppermint and tea tree oil to my reg shampoo and let it sit in while I shower to let it help my scalp. then I am using coconut oil with tea tree in it all over my body and face after showering, and I found this oil called tamanu oil which helps with cell regeneration and use it in the morning straight out of the bottle and on my scars from gallbladder surgery in feb. I have noticed a HUGE difference in the two weeks I have been using it on my face.
I had the worst rash all over when I got out of the hosp. Dr gave me antibiotics and steroids, and hibiclens, it didn't work, then medication for scabies, it didn't work. I found something that works great for me and is all natural. If I don't use it, it comes back- especially if I am really run down. I buy my normal body wash and pour half of it into another container for my use (the rest is for hubby). I add peppermint, tea tree and neem oil to it. I also did this to my shampoo because it was on my scalp. I also mix coconut oil with the essential oils to used for my moisturizer. They are all antibacterial and antifungal.

I do have a rash on my upper arms. I think Karen Cantara Thompson has a great idea. I have started buying the Miracle Oils but haven't got my papers together to see what each one does. Maybe you can get them and it will help you. Take care of yourself.

I break out in this rash looking thing that doctors just shake their heads at and call weird and want to send me to the skin doctor. I try to explain to them it has to do with my fibro cycle. I have pictures of it. It doesn't itch but can get so painful that I can't lay on it. It has kept me up for nights. I know a few other people with lupus and fibromyalgia that have it but no doctor has been willing to take the time. For you Gold bond and take an Aveno bath. Dont be stingy with it. If you have to add oatmeal. Hydrocortizone might help out over a period of time but Gold bond ointment and powder will do you nice! Hang in there love!
