Members discussed recurring oral thrush and yeast infections, with many sharing frustration over medications that seem to create a cycle of relief followed by recurrence, especially when antibiotics for UTIs trigger new yeast infections. Several members offered practical strategies, including taking daily probiotics, cutting back on sugar and gluten, trying antifungal medications like Diflucan or Nystatin, using cranberry and AZO yeast supplements, and exploring naturopathic approaches or an anti-candida diet. A recurring theme was the connection between weakened immune systems, autoimmune conditions like fibromyalgia, and persistent yeast overgrowth, with members encouraging each other to advocate for additional testing and dietary changes.

I'm sure you read about this already but the amount of sugar you eat affects the yeast levels in your body. We all have yeast in pur body to some level or another but eating the amount of sugar(sugar comes in many forms, natural and processed) that our culture consumes is actually causing people to develop Alzheimer's disease. There is research being done on its connection and some are calling it type 3 diabetes!

So that white stuff is thrush. I guess I was in denial. I brush my tongue after my teeth with Colgate mint stripes toothpaste. That helps, but when I get in my emotional down time most times I get into my self sabotage stage where I don't brush and basically don't want to do anything. I so need help.

A naturopathic dr can help with this. . .reseach about candida and see if other symptoms fit you. If so go on a anti candida diet..be sure to take probotics...
