So yesterday all day I was very tired and felt out of it, also my stomach didn't feel normal all day. Well in the middle of the night I woke up nauseous and threw up but only threw up that one time and then I was fine. Do you think it is fibro related or just a freak thing?

Members shared mixed perspectives on whether vomiting can be connected to fibromyalgia, with some believing it was likely unrelated while others described experiencing nausea from fibro pain, overheating, extreme fatigue, or anxiety triggered by pain. Several members offered practical remedies that have helped them manage nausea, including ginger (in candy, essential oil, or ginger ale form), chamomile tea, butterscotch candy, coconut water, and over-the-counter nausea medications. A recurring theme was that while nausea is a known fibro symptom for many, actual vomiting is less common and typically occurs only during extreme pain flares or when combined with other factors like motion sickness or stomach illness.

Try a piece of candy for nausea or a small piece of ginger it helps my stomach so I can stay at work. I think at times it hurts so bad but then it helps my mind to focus at times on other things other than my pain. Then at times I feel like I want to do disability so I do not have to stand on my feet in which my pain radiates the electric shock pain.

I feel often nauseated but I've never vomited since symptoms started a year ago. I've read a lot about it too and never saw anything about vomiting. Then again I'm new to fibro so I could be wrong. Hope you feel better soon!
