That is another thing. Our kids are supposed to be the future.... Well the future is looking pretty scary! Babies having babies because they were raised with no discipline. And taught to live off the system instead of getting jobs welfare is supposed to be temporary. Not a permanent means of raising your kid(s) in some of our cases its not that easy for it to be temporary because the government is giving handouts to everyone that should be working because they can even if they can't read they can still be taught during training. I know I have trained people who had trouble with the fuel desk pos register with the truck drivers needing specific stuff where some don't. He probably was one of my easier trainee's he was there on time every day early most of the time just to watch the person from the shift before to help kick start his day he is now a hard worker. I have trained people who quit before training because I told them if they weren't gonna pay attention they weren't gonna get paid. And now we have people who are fighting more and to dangerous levels about 15 yrs ago it was fist fight one day bff the next no weapons no er level injuries. Not that people should be fight it was usually over boy stuff anyway and well when your 15 and 16 that is your main priority haha. Apparently so was having babies and now 12 and 13 yr olds are my oldest kid Is 5, that's scary. My daughter will now wright from wrong but let's face it we were kids we knew right from wrong doesn't mean we always listened.... But I still respected myself parents bf and his parents. I didn't get pregnant till I was 23 and I'm glad because my mom had more time to teach me how to be a better mom then i woukd have been at 16 so now i can teach my kids how to be parents. And hope the peer pressure rolls off their shoulders...... I go on rants sorry😕
Yes my sister in-law hasn't worked a day in her life I worked hard I'm not that old so I don't have an extensive work history but I loved to work when I was a child I worked on the farm picking strawberries ($0.35 a small basket☺) and i worked from when I was old enough to get an actual job till my anxiety started. Pushed through the pain I had no insurance so I didn't know there was anything other then it hurt didn't know why or if there was anything medically wrong but I was 27 yes thats young but I'm 31 I honestly wish I didn't have to go this route but I have no choice I have kids and medical bills at high as I am tall. I miss work, I loved work and now the most work I get now hardly gets finished I do what I can say I'll finish it tomorrow but then there is more then I left the right before😯 I try to do crafts my favorite hobby sewing no machine just sewing and now I think I'm gonna need a machine if I'm gonna do the things I want my kids love when I make them stuff😓.. Cooking and baking used to be fun I could create new recipes and make cup cakes with my kids and now I'm in the store cold section make the pain worse grab the quick foods and get out of the cold buy then I'm out of energy to walk to the car my husband drives around to pick me up so now I have my family and my four legged kids to keep me keeping on sorry for the rant that turned to story its just most of the time I feel like "oh I read about that" wasn't read about.
I also have severe scoliosis & Degenerative Disc Disease through out my entire Spine. I have applied for disability, Long Term Disability Insurance, and Disability Retirement through PERS as I have worked for the County for 26 yrs. I am now down to the final stages of the hearings. I am 46 yrs old. It is enough to make me crazy. I have had surgery and have a compressed spinal cord.
My gosh Jacqueline that is a lot to be dealing with along with work. You are a strong person ☺
