I just curious is anyone else suffers from intolerance to the cold in particular area of the body? My joints/feet usually feel cold.

For the past couple of days it's been my hands/fingers. Is that part of a Fibro symptom?

I also assumed I would be better with hot weather, on the contrary generally feel very tired.

Members connected deeply over the question of cold intolerance and fibromyalgia, confirming that temperature regulation issues are a common and frustrating part of the condition, with many experiencing cold extremities, shivers, hot flushes, and the feeling of never being able to warm up. Several members shared practical strategies including wearing protective clothing like pants and closed shoes indoors to shield joints from air conditioning, checking with a doctor about Raynaud's Syndrome (which can co-occur with fibromyalgia and cause fingers and toes to turn blue or white in the cold), and seeking out dry, hot climates while being mindful of barometric pressure changes that can trigger flares. A recurring theme was the irony and exhaustion of struggling in both cold and hot weather, with swelling, fatigue, and pain affecting members year-round regardless of the season.

Ive read that some ppl with fibro can't regulate body temperature right. I get very bad pain in the cold n was so glad summer was coming until this summer I'm not regulating the heat right. My hands n feet swell. So no matter the weather it messes me up.

I am a horrendous mess and my body overheating is getting worse, some days it is so bad it makes me physically sick, I can't even put my hands in the washing up bowl without my face literally dripping with sweat 😥 Xx

I'm glad you asked about this. Its the same for me, joint pain when its "cooler" though I feel warm and fatigue when its hot. I try wearing pants and jeans to protect my knees and closed shoes for my toes from the "AC". With hands...well, I can't wear gloves in the summer so I just try to live through it.
