Members overwhelmingly shared that temperature intolerance affects them deeply, with cold weather being the most commonly cited trigger for increased pain, stiffness, and deep aching, particularly in joints and muscles, while heat causes profuse sweating, energy depletion, and uncomfortable rashes for many others. Several members described how their bodies struggle to regulate temperature at all, leading to unpredictable cycles of freezing and sweating regardless of the actual weather, with some mentioning that medications like prednisone worsen heat intolerance and that barometric pressure changes during weather shifts trigger flare-ups. A recurring theme was the exhausting reality of never feeling comfortable, with members having to constantly adjust clothing, heating, and cooling throughout the day and night, though many found relief in warm climates and expressed that understanding their body's unique responses helps them manage daily life with more intention.

OOOHHHH the heat is crazy. The minute I go outside or move too much in the heat, I sweat profusely. The cold intensifies my pain..it is just a vicious cycle..

I'm usually comfortable at home in tank top and shorts, but have to have thick, heavy socks on because my feet are always cold!!

I can't tolerate the heat at all. The sweat just pours off of me. I never sweat before I ended up with this stuff so bad. But now my neck and face looks like someone has dumped a bucket of water on me. It's so embarrassing and irratating.

Cold is TERRIBLE!! I don't like to complain about the heat due to the fact that I hate cold....but my body is changing and don't get painfully cold any more.
