I never used to be afraid of heights, but for the last few years I've noticed I go into panic mode when we drive on curvy mountain roads to the point that I'm white knuckling it and am to the point of tears. I can't even look over the edge of the road and the feeling of going around the curve or if we pick up speed......total panic. I've been on these roads in years past and not had a problem. Is it the body's nervous system and perception of stimuli that is out of whack or on hyper overdrive… read more
Happy Birthday My Dear.....
I Had suffered from anxieties for a long time, like can't go into a crowded store I have a huge panic attack
I can't wear a neck brace it throws me into a huge anxiety attack wow that was new for me.
I'm scared of heights also, When I lived in Colorado they have alot of roads like that I was hyper-ventilating trying to crawl to the other side of the car... I just can't do that... and my ex-hasbeen was laughing his ass off at me I kept telling him to shut his mouth... I was so mad, I was crying. and gasping for air at the same time because of the heights, I wanted to throw his ass off that cliff at that time, You don't make fun of people with fear it makes it worse.
Hugs my dear you have a great Birthday
Hello Lynne I have found crowds very difficult and I feel intimidated by them. This brings on a panic attack. My concentration levels are almost non existent and I struggle to find the right word. My memory is terrible too and I loose time. I have to check my diary to remind myself of appointments and what I've been up to. My speech is sometimes so bad I sound like I'm very drunk.
My anxiety in general has increased in last year
I use 5HPT and it works really well. A friend of mine gave me a piece called tangle and I work with it instead of shredding tissues when I get anxious. Both of these help me a lot with the anxiety.
I use Xanax, it helps with the anxiety. 3 times a day .25 mg.
