Members connected over the frustration of increased thirst and frequent urination, with many attributing these symptoms to fibromyalgia medications, particularly antidepressants like Cymbalta, which commonly cause dry mouth and excessive sweating. Several members strongly encouraged getting tested for diabetes, as extreme thirst and frequent urination are key warning signs, while others recommended switching from soda to water for better hydration and symptom management. A recurring theme was the shared embarrassment of excessive sweating and the constant need to keep water nearby, with members offering solidarity and understanding for these uncomfortable daily challenges.

@A MyFibroTeam Member a lot of meds can cause dry mouth or thirst, also you should get checked for diabetes. Having increase of thirst is a sign of diabetes.
I have a very dry mouth, I don't produce much saliva, so it has caused a lot of problems with my teeth. I keep fluids at my side and take drinks frequently to keep my mouth moist.
