Members shared their experiences with persistent thirst and dry mouth despite drinking plenty of water, with many initially attributing it to fibromyalgia medications before discovering the symptom itself can be part of the condition. Several members offered practical solutions including Biotene products for dry mouth, coconut water and alkaline water for better hydration, fulvic acid supplements for mineral absorption, and keeping sugar-free gum or mints on hand throughout the day. A recurring theme was the community's collective realization that many symptoms they experience, including tinnitus, dry eyes, and sensory sensitivities, are interconnected parts of fibromyalgia, though members wisely cautioned each other to rule out other conditions like diabetes that can also cause excessive thirst.

People with fibromyalgia may also experience many other symptoms, including tension or migraine headaches, strong emotions such as depression and anxiety, jaw pain, ringing in the ears, dizziness, rashes, sensitivity to light, sounds, smells and temperature, and dry eyes or dry mouth.

So, I literally drink like 60 ounces of water a day and would be very thirsty and dizzy after I get out of the shower. I thought it was diabetes, but all my tests were really good. Then I started thinking maybe I have an electrolyte imbalance or something? Like maybe I am not digesting all the good stuff I eat and take every day? So I bought fulvic acid for digestion, and then I felt seriously hydrated the next day. It seems to have helped my anxiety as well. I know it has magnesium, potassium, and other trace minerals that help. I dunno, it might be worth a shot to try. Thought is we don't get enough trace minerals anymore because we grow our veggies different now and fulvic acid comes from the soil. It's also a good alkaliser and helps reduce inflammation.

For tinnitus, my ENT suggested over the counter Lipo Flavonoid Plus. It is mostly B vitamins and I do find that it helps. Doesn't completely eliminate it but definitely softens it. I buy it cheapest at Walmart. I can tell when I haven't taken it in a while. It gets louder. Hope this helps. I also have that whole list of symptoms.

I was told it's because of the meds we take. Causes dry mouth. There's toothpaste and breathmints iI think. It's called Biotene, walgreens sells it, I can't remember where else but I know for sure walgreens does. When I had teeth i used it. Also there's a paste you can get from your dentist that you rub on your gums that's supposed to help.💝💝
