A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone else notice that they have a low or no sex drive?
I feel awful for my boyfriend but I'm never in the mood anymore

With chronic fatigue and fibro among other chronic pain, it absolutely can affect your sex drive. Not to mention any meds that may interfere. It's hard to feel in the mood when you're tired, hurting, cranky, depressed, etc. Any one of those things can affect it, let alone multiple reasons.

When I was married, I had sex during the day and I was the initiator. The bed was for sleeping. It was the best way to deal with the lack of energy for me,

Being post menopausal and having fibro mine drive is down to 2. My husband has a low sex drive too, so it works for us. Sometimes cuddling is just as sexy and we do alot of that.

Ugh same!!!! It's awful isn't it? My boyfriend has been so understanding but I still feel so guilty. I don't want him to think I am not interested or that I don't care about his needs.

Don't feel bad because some people, family members are husbands boyfriends, they just don't understand sometimes I have been divorced for over 15 year if not more if he really and truly love you honey he would at least try to understand what we go through the and tender to touch, there is other ways a couple can show there love and affection to each other life is just not about sex always see if have no desire what so ever, just sit down with him and explain to him sometimes it helps if you partner reads about it and am sure he will understand what you are going through.
