Diagnosed with fibro a few years back, had a car accident a year ago, now hit with crippling arthritis in hands. Never had before, is killing me. I do have a suggestion new member, but cannot discuss on this thread. All I know is I am much better now than I was six months ago. I will say a prayer for you for the strength to proceed in finding more help. B
Have you tried compression gloves? I have OA in every joint. With the compression gloves I can write longer than normal. May be worth a try. You need to make sure they are not real thick if you want to use them while doing something. You can also sleep with them on.
Get another doctor. You need a pain management doctor. I have RA in my hands so I know the pain you're talking about. My doctor gave me steroids for the pain. You need a doctor who is in touch with you and your ailments.
