A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question ๐Ÿ’ญ

Everyone is talking about the wonders of using Essential Oils.
I'm all for it but I have no idea about what to do with them.
Any suggestions and stories about how they helped you would be great!

I use peppermint, eucalyptus and ylang ylang. The peppermint helps for the migraines, the ylang ylang helps for mood/depression and the eucalyptus helps for my nasal congestion. I just inhale them briefly while standing over my bathroom sink with hot water running. The peppermint oil can be rubbed on your temples for the migraines. When I'm really congested, I put a couple of drops of the eucalyptus oil in my facial spa and let the vapors open up my nasal passages and get a fresh glow on my face at the same time ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi Becka, I got into them awhile back and usually purchase on Amazon, I found the brand Kis Oils to b economical and rated in the top five brands. I have an infuser which I add drops of different oils into and use in the den to help relax or for sinuses which we both suffer from!๐Ÿ˜– OK the ones I use are lavender for relaxation and on wrists, I love orange oil and eucalyptus in the infuser, I love peppermint at the base of my skull for headaches sometimes. You should google essential oils, you will find a plethora of info about uses and tons of tips. Pinterest has a wealth of knowledge as well if you use it. They have charts for how and what oils to use, you could go to my posts valeen54 and look at essential oils or just research your own. I hope this helps. Starting my infuser as we speak. Good luck๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’ซโœจ. Let me know๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Hugs๐Ÿ™…. Val๐ŸŒป

Hello I am a distributor of You g living essential oils. They are the number one major company of essential oils you can google youngliving essential oils and read about them. I can tell you which oils I use what for and why and Yes they do work for me. 1) pain muscular or joint pain or that deep ache we get--- Panaway #1 go too 2) deep relief roll on which I carry these two with me as well as peppermint oil which causes the other oils to go in deeper and even work better. Peppermint oil also works wonderful for my migraine headaches that I get almost daily.i apply to forehead temporal area and base of neck. Peppermint works awesome for my TMJ pain as well applies to TMJ joint area. It's awesome. This is the only thing that gets rid of mine period! No meds work as fast as this does. I swear by it and I carry these three oils every where with me. They are very pure and potent . I usually apply directly to the site of pain which I have generalized deep pain all over. You can use a carrier oil with these so it goes further especially to back area . Cartrier oils are like coconut almond jojoba avocado which say cold pressed and you can buy at your local grocery store especially HEB if have one. Cool azul is a cream used for body aches muscular pain and I use this on my legs knees elbows and back at times as well. Works great. You can combine these oils without any problem for pain etc. copaeiba is also great for pain anywhere but I have found the above oils are my main stay. You can use lavender for pain I use it most for calming and anxiety by applying it to wrist and neck . Also put in bath with Epsom salt which helps it to disperse better in water. Sandlewood wood helps with UTI pain and infection by applying to lower abdomen and back . I don't have problems with UTI but I know others that do and they swear it works. Anyway hope this helps. I want you to know my pain is bad all over and I'm an RN of 29 years so I of all people was very skeptical. I put on panaway to my neck and shoulders at meeting to learn about oils here and my pain was eased up within 15 minutes and I swear by them now, especially the ones I have mentioned above. Hope this helps.
