So after seeing the doctor and having multiple allergic reactions in the last few weeks, my doctor explained to me that with Fibromyalgia many sufferers also have overlapping illnesses. Overlapping illnesses I mean:)
There are like anywhere up to 100+ diff. dx related to fibro:(
I have read in many different places be it book, internet, whatever that Fibro seems to coincide with many other illnesses. Like IBS, Migraines, RLS, Autoimmune Diseases, and Depression/Anxiety.
Before I got diagnosed with Fibro I was diagnosed with RLS, IBS, GERD, Chronic Cluster Migraines, Carpul Tunnel, Ulnar Neuropothy, Hip Dysplasia, & Post Laminectomy Syndrome just to name a few. Since the Fibro diagnoses I've also had more added like Sjogrens Syndrome, Hypothyroidism, SI Dysfunction and RA just to name a few more. I look at my list of diagnosis and I want to crawl in a hole. It's getting ridiculous! Now I know why my dad hated doctors!
I have hypothyroidism besides fibromyalgia.
I have osteoarthritis, IBS, migraines, TMJ, now depression and anxiety .I have to see neurologist soon cause I have numbness,like pins and needles in both hands -just fingers. Waiting for more test results. Hugs to you.
