Members shared their experiences with recurring yeast infections after fibromyalgia diagnosis, with many describing how once an infection starts, it tends to return frequently and can be challenging to fully clear. Several members offered practical strategies including keeping skin dry in moisture-prone areas like under breasts and groin folds, using prescription-strength antifungal creams or powders, trying Gold Bond powder, wearing breathable clothing, and checking blood sugar levels since elevated glucose can encourage yeast overgrowth. A recurring theme was the critical role of diet, with many members emphasizing that reducing sugar and carbohydrate intake can help prevent infections since sugar feeds candida, though some members acknowledged struggling to cut back on carbs and sweets they enjoy.

Once get a yeast infection it comes back easily \often for a while it seems. Just keep working on it. Try keeping skin dry and just watch sugar intake. Will need a prescription strength cream or powder to get rid of it

What kind of smoothies do you recommend? If I cannot tolerate the fruit and dairy, what's left? Ugh. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you all for your help.
