Members shared deeply emotional dreams of what they would do if fibromyalgia were cured, with faith and gratitude to God emerging as the overwhelmingly first response, followed by desires to reconnect with loved ones, repair relationships strained by years of illness, and reclaim lost activities. Several members described specific passions they hope to return to, including horseback riding, running marathons, hiking, biking with their children, camping, dancing, completing advanced degrees, doing missionary or volunteer work, and exploring creative pursuits like watercolor painting. A recurring theme was the profound longing not just for pain-free bodies but for the ability to be fully present with family, especially grandchildren, and to stop feeling like a burden while finally living with joy, spontaneity, and purpose again.

I would hope that I could do the things that I could and enjoy doing.Almost forgot what that was like after 15 years.

RevSue, your a girl after my own heart. I've never been on a horse but I'm a Civil War fanatic and would love to walk around Gettysburg. I'm also a watercolour artist and despite fibromyalgia, I paint every day, it's therapeutic for me. Gentle hugs and prayers for less pain.

Lol @BettyLewisThompsonKendal, you would never have believed me if you had seen my life less then 12 months ago. I had swore i would never settle down, it was just going to be me and kids, and i would battle fm my way........... less than 12 months later, a old friend walked back into my life, we were married within 8 months, myself and the kids have never been happier. Yes my condition has got worse, im having to go into a wheelchair, im facing major back surgery, but as much as my health factor scares me silly, i have never been happier. So you never now whats going to happen or pop into your life xxxx

Say a very hearfelt prayer to God thanking him for guiding the person/persons that discover the cure. Then try to find a way to contact the person/persons that find the cure. With my new found energy, I would try to help someone that has the same aches and pains from other diseases since I would have a good understanding of what they go thourgh. I would give my dh a very big hug and kiss for standing by me. Then resume life as I once knew it!

I would praise God and then go back to university for a masters degree in counseling.
