I've heard tomatoes referred to as "night shade plants" because they are notorious for causing pain in people sensitive to pain. I'm addicted to tomatoes and many of the other nightshade plants but if your interested go to this site to read more.

Also, I typically steer away from anything acidic. Oranges are a no go. Trial and error. Feels like we are science experiments at times..

I have flare ups if I eat raw tomatoes, oranges, aspartame and some other artificial sweeteners, and V-8 juice.

I had a weird reaction from eating low-fat jello. I would fall asleep without warning and it was hard for my kids to wake me. This also happened when I used Neosporin. Weird....

I honestly havent noticed because ever since I had my gallbladder removed 17 years ago I have had stomach and bowel issues. Maybe its the fibro instead.....guess its time to start making a diary of foods I eat and what happens. Oy so much to learn!

I try to make sure most of my veggies are cooked. Some fruits too if they are cooked into breakfast like peaches for example, are more digestible than in the raw. Olive oil and coconut oil works best too. No butter. I followed the Whole 30 diet for a couple months and I felt better than I had in a couple years! It takes planning but it's worth It. Anyone who has questions about the Whole 30 and how I did it the "lazy" way..ask away!
