So I'm trying to get to my diagnosis faster, has anyone else heard of journaling their symptoms as they come, good, medication, and activity? I found this idea on Pinterest! And if so is there any journals already made of this- so My journal can be more organized looking?

Members strongly endorsed the idea of journaling symptoms to help speed up diagnosis, with many sharing their own successful approaches including tracking pain levels on calendars, documenting unusual symptoms like hair loss or rashes with photos, and creating detailed lists organized by pain location and intensity to bring to appointments. Several members recommended helpful tracking apps like CatchMyPain, FibroMapp, and PatientsLikeMe that allow users to monitor sleep, medications, flares, mood, and pain locations while generating reports for medical teams. A recurring theme was that thorough documentation proves invaluable during doctor visits, helping patients communicate more effectively with their healthcare providers and ensuring no symptoms are overlooked in the pursuit of answers.

You might try PatientsLikeMe.com .It helps you to track meds, paramedical work and pain levels, and can provide a report for your medical team.

A lot of people on here use an app called Catchmypain. I did use one I really liked call FibroMapp. In it you can keep up with sleep, medications, a flare up, your mood, your pain and where it is and it also has a journal. I stopped using it when I started cancer treatments, I just did not have the time. I keep meaning to start it back, but have't.

It was really helpful when I went to see my doctor the last time, I read through everything and typed up a 5 page symptom list. Broken down into pain from 1-10, where the pain was, what it felt like in each section of my body, and when it occurred. I also documented my food and what I drank each day, as well as medication and supplements

I would also suggest that you use the subjective pain chart for tracking your pain and take it with you to your appointments so you and your medical team are talking the same pain language.
