Members connected deeply over the shared struggle of wearing bras with fibromyalgia and costochondritis, describing the pain as feeling like sandpaper, squeezing the breath out, or stabbing chest discomfort that many initially mistook for heart attacks. Several members shared practical solutions that have brought relief, including switching to soft sports bras, front-closure styles, bra extenders, Genie bras, Bali CC99 exercise-style bras, and seamless cotton options, with many choosing to go braless at home whenever possible. A recurring theme was the tension between needing support to avoid neck and shoulder pain while also desperately wanting to escape the constricting, irritating feeling of traditional bras, leading to a collective wish for a fibro-friendly bra made from soft, breathable, non-binding fabric without underwires.

Ladies - I have found a wonderful bra that doesn't hurt. It's on the order of an exercise bra. Bali CC99. I got mine at Costco but Amazon also carries it. It's a life saver.
