I have been diagnosed with fibro, polyneuropathy, Psuedotumor Cerebri. Well my neurologist is sending me to a place that deals with MS and other autoimmune diseases. He's thinking MS. Is there any one else with autoimmune diseases? Because it's day 4 of losing my sense of taste. Any suggestions?
Fibromyalgia isn't currently classified as an autoimmune disease, but according to multiple sources, it is now being grouped with the autoimmune diseases because of the many ways it crosses over into the symptoms of MS, Lupus and RA. They are finally acknowledging that it is a progressive disease, and that like so many of the diseases, they are only scratching the surface of understanding what is actually involved with it. I could have told them ages ago that it is progressive, but the medical community doesn't listen to the actual patients, they try to intellectualize it without practical information. This is the burden we all bear, at least for now.
@A MyFibroTeam Member, have so many issues. My Dr. Put me on Handicap because I go to like Wal-mart and by the time, I make it to the door I'm ready to sit down. Take a nap. So thanks Liz Elaine. Gentle hugs and Prayers. Sincerely Angela Chapman
Does any one else have problems when you do to much walking one day and the next day you have so much pain in your legs
@A MyFibroTeam Member, Very well said. Thank you. Gentle hugs and Prayers. Sincerely Angela Chapman
@A MyFibroTeam Member, I know it is easy to get discouraged and focus on the bad, but if you look, hopefully you will find reasons to want to go on. For me, it's family, husband, daughters, grandchildren, siblings and their children, even cousins and good friends. And my dog! Even this site can be counted as a blessing, because we always know that there is someone rooting for you, someone who understands how hard it is and doesn't just feed you a lot of empty platitudes.
