I use guided meditations for pain. Very often, they help me relax and fall asleep and when I wake up the pain is much better.
I’m educating my doctor, he’s quite receptive. We have mutual respect. It’s worth a try for some of you!
Most doctors do not like to treat Fibro!! Because they have no answers__ Some still don't believe in it. I had one doctor say to my "are you a mother -are you taking care of your family-and you even have a part time job- what more do you want!! As long as I was pushing myself in major pain for my family, I guess I was alright in his eyes. My response was I want to feel human and sleep once in awhile and not by in so much pain I can't take it any more and walked out of his office. Doctors are healers by nature and they don't like it when they can't do something for people. I know I have worked in the medical field for many years. We need to help each other each one of us react different to this. We have to learn and try what others have found helpful and find our own recipe for relief. Science is finally now starting to look into figuring Fibro out maybe the answer will be here soon. Keep your heads up and don't give up hope.
