It was very difficult when my children were young. Alot of that came from stress and me "beating" myself up over what I couldn't do. I now care for my 2 yr old grandson who is very understanding of my pain. He hasn't known me any other way. When I tell him my legs hurt he gets me pillows to lay down and prop them up. Hang in there and give yourself some slack!
I have a 2 1/2 year old and an 11 year old. I feel bad on a daily basis because I don't have the energy to go do "fun" things. The thoughts of being a crappy mom are on my mind all the time. So you are not alone.
P.s i just realized that i didn't really answer your question crystal. Im sorry. I sometimes go on rants like that. Lol. To answer your question. Yes having young children can and does put me into tears at times. I empathize with you, it is not easy.
Yes my grands and my step-daughter. They are great kids but I'm so tired and emotionally and physically exhausted.
I try so hard to do things with him but lately I have felt defeated and it is so hard to be positive when my son does that to me... All I can do is apologize to him constantly
