I woke up yesterday with so much pain that I started to cry spontaneously. It came out of nowhere, and just now it happened again. I have so much pain then that my body apparently cant handle it anymore so it reacts with tears.... does anybody have that from fibro? Could be me RSD/CRPS as well.....

Members connected over the experience of crying spontaneously from overwhelming fibromyalgia pain, with many validating that tears are the body's natural response when it reaches its limit. Several members shared that crying actually helps by releasing tension and relaxing chronically tight muscles, with some describing how giving themselves permission to cry anywhere, even in public, has become an important coping tool. A recurring theme was the emotional and physical exhaustion of living with chronic pain, the frustration of others not understanding, and the comfort found in knowing they are not alone in this struggle.

I agree. I am overdue for a good cry tonight. It hits me out of left field sometimes. I think it's because let's face it, this is exhausting. I think it's actually good that you are crying. I agree it will loosen muscles. Just try not to tense up and choke back tears. Sometimes I will excuse myself and go into the bathroom and just hug myself and schedule a good cry for later. And after a few practices, just giving myself permission to cry at any point felt good. I have cried in public more times than I care to remember. Thinking of you and wishing you an easier road ahead.

I have broken down crying due to the pain also. Body can take so much and then we have to release it somehow and crying is the outcome. Warm gentle hugs to all.

Yes i start crying from the overwhelming pain. But after crying really hard i feel relaxed. I think it's because our muscles are always tense that if we release the tension it relaxes the muscles. I hope you feel better. You're in my prayers. God bless๐Ÿ˜‡
