In the morning it feels like I am in-cased in cement trying to break out of it..very painful..but once I try and walk through it..it does ease up..( not go away ) but ease up..OMG
It is one of the hallmark signs of Fibro. I'm reading a book right now written by a Dr. who runs a Fibro clinic. She actually wrote in the book that if a patient feels refreshed after a good night's sleep and is not stiff, she feels that it is not Fibro they have.
Yes, I feel that way every morning, and at night when I have to get up when I can't sleep due to the pain. It seems to be getting worse, but not sure if it's the weather, or just a progression of fibro. I'm on pain meds, but even those don't always help. God Bless and may you have better tomorrows.
I experience the same thing every morning. Once I get up and moving, the pain and stiffness lessens, but never completely goes away. Just changing positions while in bed can cause great discomfort/pain most of the time.
Thanks guys for your answers, if anything, they makeme feel normal which is not what people in my life think of me. I used to walk a lot as well and now that I started working, I literally have no time to exercise let alone walk. Sitting all day in the office not helping either. Thanks guys, big and gentle hugs
