Gabapentin
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

How long does it take before Gapapentin starts working?

Gabapentin works at different speeds in everyone. Should see a result by 2 weeks. Then the Amy will go up. I went up to 1200mg a day - all I could do was sit & stare. Kinda in a trance. It never got to all my pain. I got away from it. My head feels clearer, although my pain is still there.

I'm sorry to here @A MyFibroTeam Member - we all react to meds so differently

@A MyFibroTeam Member so good to here it's working for you and so quickly - what dose are you on?

I've only been on it for 3 days and only 100mg - upping it to 200mg tomorrow😊

I've been on five days. I woke up the second day pain free! I am so excited! My body felt wonderful. The only thing that hurts are my knees and I think that is a different beast from fibromyalgia.

Within a week I would say, it did for me when I took it, I couldn't find the right dosage, one was not enough and the next dosage was way to strong, made me feel tired and weird
