I have a lump on my tongue which has been there for a couple of days now, it's very annoying, it's not really painful. Has anybody else had this and if so what did you do to get rid of it. Thanks folks xx

I get mouth sores all the time :( mine hurt like hell my dentist told me to use Orajel it does not have alcohol in it, he was saying that the alcohol dries out your mouth and can make them worse. I also use biotene gel to keep my mouth from drying out all the time. The biotene or Act dry mouth rinse or lozenges work great.
I sometimes get painful little lumps on my tongue that are there for between a few days and a week but put them down to ulcers as I get a lot of them in my mouth. I have an antiseptic mouthwash, what was prescribed by my gp, that I get a cotton bud dipped into it and then just use on the affected area. I have tried to rinse my mouth out with it before but couldn't even speak properly because my mouth was that numb!!
If you are concerned you can see your local pharmacy to see what they recommend before making an appointment with your GP. Gentle hugs x
I was on Lyrica and one of the side affects was lichen planus, which are lacy white patches in the mouth. Daily they rupture and cause mouth sores. I thought they were canker sores until a dermatologist diagnosed me.
I been getting that too, mine is from the mediation. Can't take tylenol, motrin, The doctor, said it the coating around the pills, the I'm allergic to. Please let me know if you find out anything. thank you.
Any lumps in your mouth should be checked out by your dentist or a doctor.
