I find myself wandering into the kitchen all the time. No matter how much I eat, I can find myself back in there within minutes of having a full meal (when not nauseous). I don't experience weight gain due to a nutritional system that helps me with my weight fluctuations, and with my Fibro. The meal replacements help my mom, and I love the shakes so much, they help me maintain my weight and my medicine intake. But I'm ALWAYS hungry. Members strongly related to the experience of constant hunger despite having fibromyalgia and related conditions, with many identifying nighttime as when cravings hit hardest, particularly for sweets. Several members shared that certain medications (especially Lyrica and Savella) can increase appetite and cause weight gain, while others found that fatigue itself drives the body to search for energy through food, and that getting quality rest helps reduce cravings. A recurring theme was the importance of discussing persistent hunger with doctors to rule out thyroid issues, review medication side effects, and explore solutions like appetite-suppressing medications or thyroid treatment.

I had that when I started Savella. I thought I was diabetic. I got a glucometer and my blood sugars were fine. I couldn't stop eating. Now I take victoza subcutaneous and that has curbed my appetite. What med are you on? Any antidepressant?

I am hungry all the time..I found the reason is ( for me) its when I am fatigued...my body is constantly searching for energy...when I am rested ( a good night sleep which is not often) then I do not crave food as much..!!

Hungry not so much anymore but use to be . I read that eating a snack before bed helps you rest better and since for more than fibro I don't sleep well I gave it a try and it helps me at least during sleep

@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm on 1 75mg Diclofenac, 1 10mg Flexeral, a birth control to help dissolve cysts on my ovaries and some allergy meds. Never been on an antidepressant.

I have gained 10lbs recently. I just seem to graze for food all day! Am I hungry? Not really. Ugh.
