Has anyone had Mast Cell testing done?

I have fibro, and saw a new doctor at Stanford Medical Center (which is doing some really interesting research!). The doc strongly recommended that I get Mast Cell testing done. Has anyone had this testing, and/or have mast cell syndrome or cytosis?

I have not heard of Mast Cell testing, try looking on the Mayo clinic.org website. They may have more information.
