Feel fairly good in the morning and as the day goes on the pain, bloating gets worse. Taking Prilosec, Bentyl and probiotics. I am trying the FOD map diet, does that help anyone out there with IBS? I have had my gall bladder removed 5 years ago. My doctor thinks I have hepatic flexure syndrome. Basically trapped gas where the colon turns . Any suggestions? The fibro only makes all this worse.

I've had Costochondritis many times. In fact it is one of the diagnosis that rheumatologist look for. Sometimes it's the first sign of fibro.
Yes IBS and removal of my gall bladder. When you haven't got a gall bladder the bile drips into your intestines all day. It irritates things.
I have gone gluten free for over a year. It seemed to help some. Especially with excess gas. The FODMAP diet does suggest no gluten and Lactose free dairy. I've eliminated both. Now my doctor wants me to take Miralax. Has anyone tried that?
Thanks. I will try it. Will have to look it up on you tube.
I had similar problem where the colon turns onto the transverse colon and found that colonic massage helped relieve the symptoms and using a heat pad just before starting. I watched a couple of videos on you tube from practitioners on how to do it and practiced on myself over two evenings and hey presto problem solved. I now repeat the practice once or twice a week to the help avoid it happening again. Hope this helps and sending gentle hugs xxx
