Members enthusiastically responded to the question of whether sunbeds help with fibromyalgia pain, with many sharing that the deep, penetrating warmth from tanning beds provided significant relief for stiff, cold, and aching joints. Several members offered safer alternatives, including non-UV total body enhancement booths available at some gyms, saunas, steam rooms, or wearing thin clothing during sessions to block tanning while still absorbing heat. A recurring theme was balancing the undeniable comfort and pain relief with serious concerns about skin cancer risk, as tanning beds are banned in some countries like Australia, leading members to encourage exploring heat therapy options that don't carry the same danger.

I occasionally go in a sauna and steam room. The benefits are amazing as the warmth goes right through me plus it has health benefits from going in them

At the end of the day I just wanted to let people know that sun beds for me, are helpful and the added bonus is a little bronzed glow. I take precautions by applying factor 30 etc I just enjoy the benefits ...
