I've read a small glass of wine at bedtime helps a lot of physical problems. I wonder if it helps or hurts fibromyalgia.

I have a glass of wine almost every night before bed. It does help me rest. I like white and red, but my cardiologist wants me to have a glass of red each night.

i am in no way an expert on this.. I have seen many studies and its all over the place. I think it does both, i know how can it do both... for me when my nerves are shocking the crap out of me and I can't stand it, if I have a couple of drinks its as if it calms the nerve endings and the shocking and bug crawling stops. however it is an acidic food and causes more joint pain. i know not much help :)

I find that a glass of wine before bed really helps if I feel edgy or stressed and I usually have an easier time falling asleep. As long as the wine is ok with any meds you might be on, one glass a day is perfectly fine. And red wine is actually good for you in moderation.
