Does anyone else find that most pain relieving lotions/creams/sprays and etc. burns or at the very least irritates your skin? I've used Icy Hot, Bengay, Tiger Balm, Aspercream you name it and everything seems to put my skin on fire.

Members shared their frustrations with pain-relieving creams and lotions that burn or irritate their already sensitive skin, with many describing the painful choice between enduring the burning sensation or living without relief. Several members recommended gentler alternatives that worked for them, including Topricin cream for fibromyalgia and diabetic pain, Deep Blue for sensitive skin, Biofreeze roll-on, arnica lotions, and emu oil. A recurring theme was the added challenge of skin sensitivity and unpredictable rashes that many members developed after becoming ill, turning what should be a simple remedy into yet another complicated layer of managing chronic pain.

I have had the pop-up rashes also. They are horrible. @NancyOrtiz the only cream that I found that works awesome is called Topricin cream. Its for Fibromyalgia, Diabetic pain and other ailments.

Yes, I have had that problem. My skin is VERY sensitive.. I have to be extremely careful about what I use. I tried a new moisturizer the other day on my face and my face was bright red for about 5 hours afterwards and burning. Even after I tried to wash it back off. I had tried it on a small spot the day before on my arm and it was fine. I guess that will teach me to go slower!

I use deep blue. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't seem to affect me. It's amazing. I've got my mother in law, my husband and my daughter all using it.

Yes , I have them same situation going on with me. Yet I need some sort of relief so I try to deal with it and land up in tears from the burning. Either way I lose.
