Definitely both my daughters have fibromyalgia both at different stages, so with me having it I reckon it had to be hereditary xxxx

Yes. @A MyFibroTeam Member is right. As kids, we often suffer the same things as our siblings. And childhood trauma has been linked to fibromyalgia sufferers. I'm not sure if you had any childhood trauma, but, it is common. My sister is 8 years old than me, yet, we both suffer wit a lot of the same symptoms.
But also, if one of your parents had fibromyalgia when you were conceived, studies have shown that the child can inherit fibromyalgia that way. My daughter never experienced any childhood trauma, but, I've had fibromyalgia since I was a kid. She's 21. She's been showing symptoms since she was a kid.

Hi Emma hunni. There can be a link between fibro and ms. I suggest your sister makes an appointment hunni to go and see her Dr and he should put in a referral for her to the hospital. My mum has had for over 35 years but only diagnosed about 8 years ago. My daughter who is 25 has it.. Diagnosed late 2015 and I was diagnosed Jan 2016 tho having follow up tests for MS as my symptoms more orientated that direction according to neurologist. And yes they are genetically prone diseases that present themselves with similar symptoms.. To point that some have been misdiagnosed as each other x
