You have chronic pain and everyday it’s the same pain Right. Your numbers are say 7, 8,9. An 8 on average
But then you wake up and you can’t even breathe it hurts so bad the pain stays like that for a week 10-11-12 ? Just different but more then average
That’s a flare
When you are thankful you only hurt so much
Yes I know that’s just dumb. It might take years to settle into an average
Take a bad pain day and multiple it. Thats when you know its a flare and so many things can trigger it, stress, too much exercise or not the right kind, illness, etc. I hurt every day too but when its a flare, I am in bed and no one can get me out.
Shatoya, there are no stupid questions, ever! We must all be able to learn from each other. Hugs❣️
That's exactly what I feel, somedays you deal with it and others you want to give up
I have burning sensations or aches almost every day, but they are subtle, maybe a 2-3 on the scale. A flare is when I am experiencing deep aches and burning everywhere to the point my body MUST rest. Like right now I feel sensations throughout my body and my arms etch have light aches, but there are days where I just lay in a fetal position that is a flare for me. What I feel now is a great day !
