Members overwhelmingly confirmed that sleep problems are a near-universal experience among people with fibromyalgia, with most describing difficulty both falling asleep and staying asleep due to pain that wakes them repeatedly throughout the night. Many members shared the specific medications that help them manage sleep, including Ambien, trazodone, Amitriptyline, Pregabalin, and Kalms tablets, with trazodone frequently mentioned as effective for achieving uninterrupted rest. A recurring theme was the sense of exhaustion and feeling like a zombie from chronic sleep deprivation, balanced by practical suggestions like evening walks, spending time outdoors, and having warm milk with a banana before bed to support better rest.

I used to have a lot of problem going to sleep, now I sometimes wake up hot and restless in the middle of night. I've taken two Kalms tablets every night for years now and they work quite well, they also help you feel less stressed. How this helps

I take Amitriptyline and Pregabalin at night, sometimes it takes hours before I am ready to go to sleep. I've tried taking them earlier but if I do they take longer to work, it also depends on what type of a day I have as to whether I get to sleep before or after midnight and it's very rare if I sleep without waking up every five mins.x
