My doctor put me on this diet. One of my problems was that my apatite was gone but I was still gaining weight, I am once again struggling to get food down and the am gaining back the 13 lbs it took me 4 months to lose! Do you think if I start eating the way you suggest that I will keep me apatite? Today I have had about 1/4 of a cup of chia seeds and I am getting ready to b try and get down a small an egg. That will be all I have today except one bulletproof coffee and water. I am sure the loss of apatite has had something to do with the extra fatigue.

Thank you so much! My insurance has just changed and the Dr it took me years to find does not take my new insurance. If I ever get back to him I will pass this along. I will also quite my LCHF way of eating.

We need carbs...our body needs them but not the fat...when I got sick I put on a whopping over 100lbs.in about a year, had never weighed overc125 in my life unless I was preg...went to Dr.af5er Dr.was finally diag.with hypothyroidism, but even with meds did not and couldn't lose weight..still the same 20 yrs.later..going to ask my MD about Ozempic or monjoro..think it maybe some how connected to the psoriasis..

The best results that I have experienced was witth a low glycemic load diet. I lost 30 pounds in about 2 months and had more energy.. I did not overdo on either protien or fat but did not deprive myself either. I consistently ate low glycemic load carbs. They seemed to have more micronutrients and made me feel better over all.
