This is a site I found that showed many foods that trigger pain and discomfort. My husbands niece had fibromyalgia and she changed her diet and does very well. She never told me though what she changed other than cutting out the acidity in her foods. Caffeine also.

I tried everything! The only thing that makes a difference for me is cutting out all sugar and caffeine after 6. It's simple and obvious but it really does make a differnece to my quality of sleep

I have tried radical changes in diet and it made me feel worse. I have decided to make one small change at a time and see if that works better. I started this week by cutting out dairy and "reducing" gluten which I plan to eliminate completely. Any little shock to my body seems to cause a flare so I am taking it slow this time.

You may not have to cut that out just change your ingredients a little. You can go with almond milk or rice milk. I like both. Some of them have vanilla flavoring which goes well on cereal. If you have to go wheat free I use large flake oats. You can either go for the hot cereal or like myself make your own granola. Very delicious and healthy. I make a big batch and it lasts a couple of weeks.

Caffeine and chocolate do me in. (Also eat mini meals thruout the day)I have to be careful about the number of sweets I consume. All aforementioned cause bathroom problems and increased pain. Good luck!
