Members overwhelmingly confirmed that stress is a major trigger for fibromyalgia flare-ups, with many describing how even small stressors can lead to widespread pain, stiffness, headaches, and days of recovery. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage stress-related flares, including alternate breathing techniques, meditation, prayer, yoga, low-volume music, hypnotherapy CDs, coloring books, and in some cases low-dose Xanax for acute episodes. A recurring theme was the importance of setting boundaries, avoiding negative people and situations, prioritizing self-care without guilt, and learning to let things go rather than taking on others' problems.

I believe so, I generally don't let anyone/anything stress me. However, if I am angry with my daughter; I get a flare. My advice to all would be to get the attitude that your health is most important. (Not really what I wanted to say, but I don't want to offend anyone.) LOL
