I've been suffering from pain in the right shoulder for some time now. I went to the Drs and she sent me for xrays and ultrasound. She said it may be my rotator cuff. Has anyone else experienced a torn rotator cuff? I've been using my left arm to compensate but now that is hurting too. I go to the doctors once a week for lidocaine injections for the pain but I'm becoming very frustrated feeling I'll never ever get relief. Its two weeks still for me to wait for the results since my doctor… read more

I have pain in both shoulders and across my collarbone - very painful - cannot get a good nights sleep unless I sleep on my back - as soon as I roll onto either side I wake up in pain. Doctor ignores my complaints - maybe because I have so many issues. Frustrated!!
I didn't realize the pain I had coming down like tabs starting from my shoulders was rotator cuff pain. I knew I couldn't work with arms over my head and the muscles in my neck and across my shoulders never, ever loosen but again, I didn't realize until I went to my new rheumatologist. After she examined me she told me I had issues with both rotator cuffs and gave me injections in both. Oh my what a wonderful difference. As soon as I have recovered sufficiently from this fractured hip I am going to PT for several "parts" to include my rotator cuffs.
Yes. They thought it was rotator cuff problems for me as well. After years of misdiagnosis and near pain so severe that I seriously thought I was going to go insane, they diagnosed me with SupraScapular Nerve Entrapment. I had surgery for this on July 2014. It is a very painful surgery with a long recovery time, but it finally felt like someone removed that 10 inch blade jammed into my left shoulder ridge. It is an aggressive surgery and a relatively new diagnosis so not many doctors are aware of it. It hurt so badly to move it after surgery that I ended up with Frozen shoulder....ugggg. I still have trouble and pain in my shoulder. I completely understand. Check with your doctor on that Suprascapular thing. It just may be the problem. Sure couldn't hurt. Maybe try googling it to see if the symptoms match yours. Hugs to you.
Yes I have exactly that. Feels like someone squeezing my shoulder muscles. Pain down both arms. Trying to reach is very painful.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I agree with you mornings are definitely worse probably from laying on them
